One Little Monkey
jumping on the bed, she fell off and bit through her lip!!!! Well, we made our first trip to the ER last night, Miss Alice was jumping on the bed and fell off and did a number on her lip. She managed to bite through her lower lip and hit her upper pretty good too. Tom and I were at the BSU vs. UO game (Go Broncos!) when it happened, so I was a little horrified when I picked her up after the game. She was a real trouper at the ER, and let the doctor check her out without crying (fortunately no stitches required & all teeth are OK). When we were walking into the hospital she said: WOW, look at the castle!!! Too cute.

oooh, poor baby girl. the good news is you can look back at a picture from march on my blog of henry looking the same way. within a week he was totally healed without a scar. we went to the dr too late and got in trouble because doc said he did need stitches. oh well, he's healed and didn't have to suffer through stitches so i say "all's well that ends well!"
did they tell you no straws for a couple of days? i guess the sucking could make it break open and undo the healing.
