Kyle and I headed back to the dentist this morning, I was worried because Kyle has only had 8 oz of liquid since Monday. He sees the bottle and associates it with pain. I tried feeding him using a medicine dropper, but that was no good either. The dentist (who I love Boise moms - Dr. Dan Streeby) took an x-ray and suggested that we pull the last standing tooth. It will help Kyle heal faster and it was likely going to fall out anyway.
So they strapped the little guy in a papoose, shot him up with novocaine and extracted the last standing tooth. The staff was great and it was all done in 5 minutes (wow)! Now we have a little tooth for the Tooth Fairy to get tonight (we suspect the other one is somewhere in his intestine right now). I'm sure Alice will be much more excited about the Tooth Fairy's visit tonight, rather than Kyle.
We're off to Mexico tomorrow for a much needed vacation (sans kids), so thank you to my parents for watching a banged up Kyle!!!!!

Another One Bites The Dust
We had a our second trip to the ER last night, this time it was for Mr. Kyle. With his new found freedom of crawling, he decided it would be fun to crawl down our back stairs....head first. Well, he managed to completely knock out one of this 2 lower teeth, and the other is barely hanging on. After 4.5 hours at the ER, sedation, IVs and 1 stitch, we brought our little guy home.
We went to our dentist this morning and he said it's likely the other tooth will fall out too, so Kyle will be missing his 2 bottom teeth for the next 6 years. Poor Guy! He truly looks like a hockey player with his sporty helmet and bashed up mouth.
I will post photos soon. Miraciously, his lip and mouth don't look that bad (because the impact was solely on his 2 little teeth). Back to baby food we go.

Clowning Around
Alice was taking photos with my camera and this one is my favorite. Check out Kyle's samurai pony.
This one is super funny too!
3 dr apts, 3 antibiotics, 1 nebulizer, 2 sick kids within 10 days. So fun! Kyle had a little bout with RSV, but we're all better now.
Ummmm. If Alice ever tries to put makeup on you, RUN!
Alice (and mom) were intrigued with this gigantic Daikon radish Dad brought home...what the heck is he going to do with that?!?!?! Pork Meatball Banh Mi of course.
Dana and Frank watched the kids so Tom and I could go out for a little alone time - Thank you Grinnells! Frank was not too thrilled to learn that Alice was going to make him 'Queen' for the night.

Kyle's Mobile
Mr Kyle decided he wasn't going to sit around and watch life pass him by. Last week he decided it was time to become mobile (no, he did not get his first Blackberry) and started to crawl. He's officially into everything, and Alice doesn't quite understand why all her stuff is ending up in his hands/mouth. She's not that excited about his new found freedom to mess up her stuff, crawl onto her back, rip off her necklace, eat her Bendaroos, etc.
Snow Bunny
Tom took Alice out for her first ski adventure. They didn't go down any mountains (or hills for that matter), but she liked it and wants to go again. Awesome...now we sign up for ski lessons!
